Background

The BTF is the official body representing the ITU in the UK. The BTF run and organise the sport whilst arranging a raft of events to support both the professional athletes and to encourage more grass roots participation.
  
Smart Ciy Dressing supplied the main event branding material for all the official BTF events this summer.

Brief

Produce a flexible branding kit that can be sent to any one of four different types of event, is self install and easy to adapt to the different environments.

Solution

We adapted the BTF design to incorporate the logo, the main sponsors logos and a number of colour schemes. This is vital as it creates a strong design that can incorporate new sponsors and new products whilst making sure the events always look co-ordinated and the branding is effective.
  
For course branding we supply ‘perfknit’ a versatile, perforated material that can be used on crowd barrier as well as permanent barriers. To compliment this we supply a large number of portable flags. This satisfies the main requirements of an event to have strong horizontal and vertical branding.
The flag hardware is adaptable to different conditions and can take a different number of designs.
  
To compliment the course branding we produced a backdrop on a flexible frame with specially designed feet that can be used on both soft and hard standing and a number of branded marquees.
  
For smaller events we also supplied an inflatable arch with branding as well as additional course banners.

Conclusion

Working within a restrictive budget we satisfied the aims of the BTF and their sponsors. We produced an effective initial kit and turn around banners often in 48hrs to meet the demands of the sponsors at each additional event.
 
We look forward to adding to the event branding kit with new innovative solutions to support the main sponsors and increase the profile of the sport in the country.
