BackgroundThe Sky Festival staged in Manchester was the UK’s largest free festival attracting over 200,000 people to 34 events over 3 days. The staging of the event was handled by RPM, then City Dressing’s parent company, with City Dressing supplying and consulting on a range of City Dressing and event branding solutions. BriefSupply a range of products to promote the event alongside traditional media. SolutionBetween RPM and City Dressing Manchester was transformed for the festival, from the staging of a demonstration lap of the A1 Grandprix to the building of a News Centre in Piccadilly Station no part of the centre of Manchester was left unaffected. City dressing directly supplied 40 freestanding flagpoles and 12 freestanding toblerones. The City Centre flagpoles ability to display large banners up in the air greatly adding to the impact of the festival. Conclusion / SuccessThe Sky Festival is set to return to Manchester next year and City Dressing will be working harder with the Sky team to ensure the event makes an even greater impact.
